How did it come to this….. IT rained. I was an innocent child (nay say’rs hush) and
the cadence and soft sounds of the rain soothed me. My family was all
musical, so I had no choice. Back in the day it was beer drinking buddies coming
over for pick’n n grin’n (course booze was involved) and my love of the tunes was
born. Later on, the folks found their love for the Lord and a new genre(ergo Grace)
was introduced to this child
Like the rain, music is the air I breathe, the tune in my soul and the end
of silence (rainy hates silence) Every day I hear something new in a song I’ve heard
many times. To those that know me, I’m a snot bucket, that’s right. When I love
I love hard and deep, and music is one of my biggest loves in life. Where a song
can reduce me to a puddle, I find great joy in all of it.
RRR was born after a few days of silence from previous experience with another
Radio station. I was hooked, addicted, working my 12 step program on withdrawal
from tunes and sharing tunes. I jonesed, got the shakes, and didn’t know what to do with
myself. It was an easy birth, a few deep breaths, no anesthetics, hours of searching
for a name (It should have been obvious) and my widdle RainRockinRadio was
brought into this world. Sometimes mischievous, even punchy at times , I couldn’t
ask for a better baby. That’s right, she is my baby, and with my mothering eyes glowing
with pride, I introduce you below, to the very Team who makes this station what it is.
I beam with pride, I share tears and I laugh with glee at the antics of this Ace team of DJ’s
I challenge anyone to have a better team. (gotta love the ones who babysit my baby
without using duct tape and Cheetos).
